In the French language, LES is the plural article used for both masculine and feminine nouns. It is also the acronym for one of New York City’s most vibrant cross-cultural neighborhoods — picking up on notes of rice powder, peach blossom, cardamom, cedar and pear, to name just a few of its many notes, much like the bodega and wholesale food suppliers synonymous with the area. All in all, this scent is an unexpected, abundant, cross-cultural, olfactive exploration that reaches far beyond the binary.

Prior to each lighting, trim the wick to 6mm for a clean and smoke free burn.

On your first light, allow the entire surface of wax to melt — Minimum of 3 hours. There will be some “wax wall hanging,” but that’s normal.

After each burn, carefully re-adjust the wick while the wax is still molten.

Discontinue when ½ inch of wax remains to prevent possible cracking.

For all burns, never let it go on for more than 4 hours.
